Terms of Use
Effective October 18, 2026. GLO Law, operated by Eden Bound LLC, a Kansas company.
These terms cover glolaw.org, the GLO Law Android app, and the GLO Law connector for AI applications. Using any of them means you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use GLO Law.
What GLO Law is, and is not
GLO Law is a free research tool for finding public legal records: court opinions, statutes, regulations, and state corrections department policies. It is not a law firm, and nothing on it is legal advice. Using it does not make anyone your lawyer. Eden Bound LLC is a private company. It is not a government agency and does not speak for any court or government.
The records can be wrong
The records here are copies, and copies go out of date. Some are incomplete or were copied with errors, and some of what GLO reads automatically, such as a later court reporting that a case was overruled, is wrong. Corrections department policies are internal policies, not law. A missing result does not mean no such case or rule exists. Before you rely on anything here, especially in a filing or before a deadline, check it against the official source. What you file, and when, is your decision and your responsibility. What this search cannot do lists the measured limits.
Using GLO Law fairly
Please do not:
- copy the service in bulk, or try to get around its limits on how many searches one person can run;
- try to break into, overload, or interfere with it;
- sell or resell access to it;
- use it to harass anyone or to break the law.
We may slow, suspend, or close an account or connection that does these things.
Accounts and connected apps
An account is optional. You are responsible for what happens through your Google sign-in and through any AI application you approve. You can disconnect apps or delete your account at any time on your account page. The privacy policy says what we collect and keep.
The records belong to others
Court opinions and government texts are public records. Some collections we copy are published under licenses that require credit, and GLO names its sources. These terms do not give you any right in those records beyond what the law and their licenses already give.
Free, and offered as is
GLO Law is free and may change, pause, or stop at any time. It is offered as is and as available, without any promise that it is accurate, complete, current, or always working. To the fullest extent the law allows, Eden Bound LLC is not responsible for any loss that comes from using GLO Law or relying on it, including a missed deadline, a lost case, or a rejected filing. If Eden Bound LLC is found responsible anyway, its total responsibility is limited to fifty U.S. dollars. Some places do not allow these limits, and there they apply only as far as the law allows.
Kansas law
Kansas law governs these terms. Any dispute about them goes to the state or federal courts for Shawnee County, Kansas.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version is posted here with a new date. Using GLO Law after that means you accept the new version.
